About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Worker to join our team in the Queanbeyan area. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers, enabling them to live independently at home for longer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for our customers.
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping, ensuring our customers have access to nutritious food and groceries.
  • Offer social support and transport to lifestyle activities, promoting social interaction and community engagement.
  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and medication management, to support our customers' physical and emotional well-being.
  • Offer respite and emotional support to our customers and their families, providing a sense of relief and comfort.
  • Provide complex care for customers with high care needs, including dementia and mobility issues.

  • Guaranteed hours and shifts in Queanbeyan, with a permanent part-time position available.
  • Award rate of $30.61 per hour, plus superannuation and paid kilometers.

Requirements
  • 6 months or more experience in a similar role, including experience with personal care.
  • A current P1 class or above Australian Driver's License and a registered vehicle, with a willingness to travel.
  • Ability to work independently and find solutions to everyday problems, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Availability to work at least 3 days per week, Monday to Friday, with no night or weekend work required.
