Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced leader to manage our industrial relations and maintain best practices in the transport industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining Transport Best Practice Industry Conditions (BPIC) documents and other approved documents.
  • Providing timely and well-researched advice on BPIC and related industrial relations matters.
  • Leading stakeholder relationships, including internal clients, suppliers, industry, and public-sector bodies.
  • Developing and delivering strategic planning and internal business planning.
Requirements:
  • Proven ability to develop and embed operational policy, frameworks and processes.
  • A sound understanding of procurement, contract management and project delivery in the civil construction sector.
  • Extensive experience in industrial relations, including an understanding of Queensland trade union environment, relevant legislation and policy settings and the relevant enterprise agreements and awards.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills.
  • Strategic mindset, capable of analysing complex issues, risks, and opportunities.
About This Role:

This is a key leadership role responsible for maintaining industry standards and best practices. The successful applicant will have a proven track record of developing and embedding operational policy, frameworks and processes.
