Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist

This is a key role within the SG Fleet AU Financial Reporting & Analysis team, responsible for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting and analysis. The team supports business decision-making by analyzing data, developing financial models, preparing reports, and providing meaningful insights to achieve SG Fleet's strategic goals.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Ensure the accurate and timely production of financial analysis for month end and prepare month end reports.
  • Responsible for preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, and monitoring performance against targets.
  • Build strong relationships with various stakeholders, including department heads, to understand their needs and provide tailored financial insights.
  • Analyse financial trends and communicate findings and recommendations to management.
  • Responsible for preparing product, customer, and segment profitability analysis.
  • Collect, organize, and maintain sets of data to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
  • Special projects modelling and insightful reporting.
  • Train and share knowledge with other staff members when needed.
  • Ad hoc reporting and other tasks as required.

**Requirements:**

  • Previous experience in a FP&A Analyst or similar role.
  • Previous experience in financial modelling.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills through the use of critical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills with an ability to prioritise.
  • Proven customer service and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or equivalent.
  • CPA/CA Qualified or Equivalent qualification.
  • Knowledge of Fleet Leading/Management (desirable).
  • Build reports in Power BI (preferred).
