Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for financial planning, reporting, and analysis in month-end reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the accurate and timely production of financial analysis for month-end and prepare month-end reports.
  • Responsible for preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, and monitoring performance against targets.
  • Build strong relationships with various stakeholders, including department heads, to understand their needs and provide tailored financial insights.
  • Analyse financial trends and communicate findings and recommendations to management.
  • Responsible for preparing product, customer, and segment profitability analysis.
  • Collecting, organizing, and maintaining sets of data to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
  • Special projects modelling and insightful reporting.
  • Train and share knowledge with other staff members when needed.
  • Ad hoc reporting and other tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a Financial Planning and Analysis role or similar.
  • Previous experience in financial modelling.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills through the use of critical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills with an ability to prioritize.
  • Proven customer service and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or equivalent.
  • CPA/CA Qualified or Equivalent qualification.
  • Knowledge of Fleet Leading/Management (desirable).
  • Build reports in Power BI (preferred).
