Tourism and Visitor Experience Coordinator Job Description

This role involves contributing to the development and implementation of tourism and visitor experience policies, projects, and strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and be able to communicate effectively and sensitively with Indigenous communities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of tourism and visitor experience policies, projects, and strategies.
  • Support strategic tourism planning and policy development.
  • Assist in managing commercial tourism activities, including authorizations.
  • Prepare visitor insights reports from survey data, ticketing, and other sources.
  • Draft documentation such as briefs, reports, correspondence, minutes, and agendas.
  • Collaborate with park-based staff and a range of internal and external stakeholders.
