The role of a Business Performance Analyst is a key position within the finance team. This opportunity will provide broad exposure to operational and commercial functions, partnering with stakeholders to deliver actionable insights and business performance reporting.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver Strategic Insights: Provide in-depth analysis and commentary on departmental and category performance, including underlying loss, supporting weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting.
- Drive Operational Improvement: Offer decision support and lead key forecasting and planning processes to enhance financial and operational outcomes.
- Optimize End-to-End Performance: Collaborate with operational and finance stakeholders to improve overall performance and decision-making.
- Champion Process Enhancement: Identify, implement, and lead process enhancements within the finance team and across the business, ensuring data integrity.
- Foster Team Collaboration: Actively engage in team development, sharing improvements, and maintaining robust financial processes and controls.
- Qualifications: CPA/CA qualified experience or equivalent experience preferable with multinational FMCG or retail experience preferred.
- Communication Skills: Able to communicate complex financial information in a simple manner, including presentation and storyboarding skills.
- Organisational Skills: Sound organisational and effective time management skills, including ability to navigate uncertainty, conflicting demands, and shifting priorities.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to exercise sound judgement and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
