Property Portfolio Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Property Portfolio Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day management of properties and land, including liaising with contractors to complete maintenance and prioritizing payments to statutory authorities.

This role involves assisting in the management of all aspects of lease administration for a property portfolio of approximately 300 sites. This includes lease renewals, lease restructuring, rental reviews, lease surrenders, market analysis, rental determinations, maintenance obligations, and general lease administration.

The Property Portfolio Coordinator will provide support to the Property and Acquisitions Advisor regarding property-related matters, including acquisitions, leases, licences, easements, and land management.

Additionally, they will assist in the instruction and management of property contracts, surveyors, valuers, and land access consultants and property enquiries.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Local experience in an officer/administrator or coordinator role within a commercial or retail property/real-estate environment.
  • Bachelor of Applied Science (Property) or Bachelor of Environments (Property) or Bachelor of Property Real Estate or equivalent qualifications in the area of property, valuations, or real estate (desirable but not essential).
  • Sound knowledge within the field of real estate, valuations, or property management and knowledge of property administration requirements, systems, and procedures.
Benefits

This is a permanent, full-time role working Monday to Friday, with flexible start and finish times. The position offers a hybrid working environment, with three days per week spent in the office and two days working from home. You will be based in Melbourne CBD, close to public transport, with occasional site visits to metro-Melbourne locations. A laptop and fleet vehicle will be provided, as well as 15 sick/carers days per year.

The Property Portfolio Coordinator will work closely with the property team to achieve business objectives and contribute to the ongoing development of our property portfolio.

In addition to your technical skills and experience, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
