Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including Registered Nurses, to ensure seamless care and optimal outcomes.
  • Administer medications and perform clinical procedures within your scope of practice, adhering to professional standards and best practices.
  • Sustainably support the rehabilitation and reintegration of patients through engagement in health programs tailored to their needs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records, contributing to quality improvement initiatives and informing evidence-based practice.
Requirements
  • Certificate II or higher in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care, demonstrating a strong foundation in Indigenous health principles and practices.
  • Experience working in primary healthcare settings, with a proven track record of clinical assessment and patient care.
  • Excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders, including patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • A deep commitment to cultural awareness, sensitivity, and respect, ensuring that care is delivered in a way that values and honors Indigenous cultures.
