Employee Wellbeing and Injury Prevention Specialist

At ATCO, we prioritise the well-being of our employees, fostering a safe and healthy work environment. To achieve this, we are seeking a dedicated Wellbeing and Injury Management Coordinator.
The ideal candidate will contribute to the development and implementation of holistic well-being programs, including psychosocial initiatives. They will coordinate and support wellbeing champions, promoting mental, physical, social, and financial wellness across the organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating the development and implementation of wellbeing programs and initiatives.
- Supporting wellbeing champions to deliver mental, physical, social, and financial wellness initiatives.
- Guiding employees on wellbeing-related issues, including mental and physical health.
- Conducting needs assessments and surveys to identify areas for improvement and evaluating current initiatives' effectiveness.
- Promoting awareness and education on wellbeing-related issues, focusing on mental, physical, social, and financial well-being.
- Supporting injured employees and their line managers through the injury management process, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and national health policies and procedures.
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Post-secondary qualifications in a health-related field or similar.
- A genuine passion for promoting employee well-being and creating a positive work environment.
- A strong understanding of wellbeing-related issues, including psychosocial hazards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with employees at all levels.
- The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, maintaining high attention to detail.
- A creative and innovative approach to problem-solving, with the ability to develop and implement new initiatives to support employee psychosocial and physical well-being.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the delivery of effective wellbeing programs.
- Experience in claims information and insurance.
- Knowledge and understanding of health, safety, and workers' compensation legislation and standards.
- Knowledge and understanding of HSE legislative requirements, including psychosocial hazards and the new Work Health and Safety (WHS) legislation.
- A WA Class C Driver's Licence.
