As a Sourcing Technical Specialist, you'll be part of a global team that designs, manufactures, and supplies wear products and services for mining equipment. Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize technical expertise to provide capability within the Product Sourcing team, delivering and continuously improving sourcing channels that are compliant, flexible, consistent, sustainable, and low-cost.
  • Oversee supplier technical processes, supplier audits, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure products are delivered to specification.
  • Identify, analyze, and review instances of supplier non-conformances, developing plans to prevent recurrence in collaboration with suppliers.
  • Review first article products and inspection reports, providing recommendations on technical compliance.
  • Qualify manufacturing facilities for outsourcing Bradken products, aligning with the agreed strategy.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Metallurgy, Materials, or similar)
  • Experience in a steel and/or iron foundry environment working with cast products or similar heavy industrial manufacturing processes
  • Product sourcing experience, with a focus on both domestic and international suppliers
  • Creation of technical documentation, including procurement specifications, reports, product/supplier audits, etc.
  • Experience participating in failure investigations and root cause analysis.
What We Offer

This is a remote working opportunity in India that requires travel to supplier sites in Kolhapur, Maharashtra as needed. Being based in Kolhapur is highly advantageous.
