Job Title:

Accounts Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced professional to manage daily financial transactions related to premium funding approved loans.

This involves working closely with key stakeholders to settle loan premiums, brokers' commissions, and other daily activities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Import dishonours and post to Loan System
  2. Check Direct Debits and credit card transactions ensuring accuracy, postings and dishonours
  3. Import Bank statement, undertake reconciliations, allocations and postings
  4. Reconciliations and postings (Bpay payments, Credit Cards, Transactional Banking cashflows)
  5. Process any return credits & refund banking files
  6. Manage loan system and banking actions to resolve payment issues
  7. Daily Cashflow summary & cash forecast
  8. Manage Insurance Premium and Broker commission payments
  9. Process, reconcile, bank files and remittances
  10. Loan System (Odyssey) processing & support
  11. Approve refunds and journals completed by the Customer Service and Credit teams
  12. Check Direct Debits and credit cards have run correctly and post credit card dishonours
  13. Manual payments in ANZ as required

Requirements:
  • 5+ years' experience in Accounts Manager / Settlement Office roles
  • Premium Funding experience beneficial
  • MS Office/ Excel & Banking Platform experience required
  • Skilled communicator with a strong attention to detail
  • Team Player and good problem solver
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities intraday
