Job Title: Financial Transaction Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Financial Transaction Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for processing, verifying, and reconciling supplier invoices and completing payments in accordance with payment terms and agreed service level agreements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Capture all supplier invoices and credit notes in our automated accounts payable system
  • Ensure all invoices are coded, properly authorized, with supporting documentation attached, processed, and paid in accordance with payment terms
  • Respond to vendors' queries in a timely and professional manner
  • Set up payments in relevant banking platforms in accordance with scheduled payment runs
  • Maintain the creditors master files and our automated accounts payable software
Requirements:
  • At least 3-5 years of work experience in a high-volume accounts payable role
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping and accountancy skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, and customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work efficiently while managing a range of responsibilities across multiple areas
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive and professional attitude
  • Experience with adept or similar ERP and medius (AP automation system) or similar
