Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a motivated individual to lead our team of skilled technicians in a workshop setting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the team to efficiently rebuild and repair equipment, ensuring high-quality results and meeting customer expectations.

This role involves estimating, planning, and executing workshop jobs, as well as training and mentoring the team to work in accordance with established procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the team to strip, inspect, repair, and report on customer equipment.
  • Train and mentor the team to ensure they adhere to workshop protocols.
  • Prepare accurate quotations for all customer activities and process service orders efficiently.
  • Carry out site work within time and quality expectations.
  • Plan all service work, monitoring labour resources, materials planning, job allocation, and contractor management.
  • Maintain a strong commitment to safety practices, aligning with our company's zero-harm policies.

Requirements:

  • Trade certification in mechanical fitting or a related field.
  • Proven experience leading a team, including coaching and providing technical support.
  • Ability to plan and organize workloads effectively.
  • High-risk forklift ticket and dogging/rigging qualifications highly desirable.
  • Attention to detail and a focus on safety.
  • Current manual driver's license required.
