**About the Role**

As a key member of our operations team, we are seeking an experienced Mobile Plant Operator to oversee the safe and efficient operation of our mobile and fixed plant equipment at our Seaham Quarry. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to safety and quality, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Operate quarry mobile plant and equipment (Haul Truck, Excavator, and/or Front-End Loader) safely and efficiently.
  • Manage the operation of the crushing plant with precision.
  • Perform basic maintenance and maintain plant cleanliness.
  • Engage in problem-solving and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Participate in safety initiatives, including pre-start checks, toolbox talks, and incident reporting.

**Requirements:**

  • Experience with mobile plant operation is essential.
  • HR truck licence is advantageous but not required.
  • Quarry experience is valued but not necessary.
  • Self-motivated with a strong commitment to safety and quality.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team with minimal supervision.
  • Available to work Monday to Saturday.
