Job Description

We are seeking a skilled technician to join our team in Tomago. The successful candidate will be responsible for refurbishing and servicing equipment components, complete machines, and spare parts.

This is an on-site position where you will work closely with the Workshop Supervisor to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist other tradesmen in striping, assessing, and rebuilding Metso fixed plant equipment.
  • Work on manual lathes and milling machines.
  • Train and mentor apprentices.
  • Record, analyze, and inform relevant personnel of production quality assurance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need the following skills and qualifications:

  • Relevant Trade Certificate.
  • Current driver's license.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Workshop experience working on OEM equipment.
  • Experience in machining small and large parts to tight tolerances.
  • Forklift Certificate.
  • Dogman Certificate.
