Casual Retail Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and experienced retail professional to fill this role. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the sales process.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide outstanding customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Support the sales process by engaging with customers, answering questions, and making product recommendations that meet their needs.
  • Assist with visual merchandising and maintaining store displays to create an attractive shopping environment.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently using Point of Sale systems.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and meet business objectives.
Requirements:
  • Retail experience, preferably in homewares or related industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and late trading hours, as required.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a strong focus on sales performance.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy items and stand for long periods, if needed.
