Regional Banking Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced regional banking leader to join our team in South West Victoria.

This key role involves leading and supporting a team of bankers to grow existing relationships and build new ones with customers while balancing risk and delivering the right outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a geographic approach for business development activities
  • Coach team members on customer interactions, credit decision making, and risk management
  • Apply broad thinking within defined strategies and policies to meet business needs
  • Hold regular development and performance conversations to support team members' career pathways
  • Foster key local business and commercial relationships to build the NAB brand in the community
  • Manage revenue and expenses for your geography
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to leverage the right balance of specialization in your region
  • Evaluate and implement best practices to keep the bank safe
  • Promote strategic transformation initiatives as they land into your business

Requirements:

  • Significant banking background in business, private, corporate, credit, or specialized business, or equivalent professional experience in a related field
  • Depth and breadth of leadership of a team, ideally with functional and professional diversity
  • Experience in both strategy development and execution
  • Experience in building own and enterprise brand in the external market
  • Change management expertise
