The Department of Justice and Community Services is seeking a professional to fill a critical role in the Barwon South West Region.

About the Role

This position involves establishing collaborative relationships with service providers delivering justice services in the region, monitoring their performance, and leveraging funding opportunities to contribute to place-based services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and monitor multiple contracts delivered by funded service providers across various program areas.
  • Provide specialist advice and support to service providers, regional, and central program areas staff to respond to operational problems consistent with contractual obligations and policy objectives.
  • Analyse and review service provider performance, communicating with them to ensure cooperation and timely delivery of services.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in contract coordination and management.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in modern service delivery principles involving local responses to community needs.
  • Able to work under minimal supervision as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Maintain up-to-date, complete, and accurate records.
  • Advanced computer skills to complex word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, or database functions.
