Senior Supply Chain Management Specialist

The role requires an individual to lead the supply chain aspects of MQ-28 subprojects. This involves working collaboratively with customers and other stakeholders to develop and deliver critical capabilities in support of their missions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying gaps in the supply chain, creating novel strategies to mitigate risks, and delivering capability to the program.

• Be the focal point for the supply-chain aspects of MQ-28 development sub-projects and incremental upgrades;
• Identify gaps in the supply chain and create novel strategies to mitigate risks and deliver capability to the program;
• Be the focal point for your suppliers and program stakeholders, and provide guidance and advice to the program on all aspects of your suppliers' commercial, contractual and production capabilities;
• Lead supplier contracting activities, including developing and managing timely and high-quality supplier procurements, leading to contract administration/execution and order management;
• Be a champion for your suppliers internally, and manage a close working relationship with your suppliers as an Authorized Procurement Agent for the company;
• Contribute directly to the success of the MQ-28 supply chain and the production of this world-leading capability.

• Leads the Supply Chain aspects of MQ-28 sub-projects;
• Drafts, negotiates and manages a broad range of commercial agreements including NDAs, development, manufacturing and support services contracts and contract variations;
• Develops procurement strategies and priorities and leads their delivery through strong stakeholder relationships and understanding program requirements;
• Conducts complex approach to market activities (RFx), analyses and evaluates supplier proposals, negotiates supplier deviations to subcontract provisions and recommends final supplier selection;
• Monitors and reports subcontract cost, schedule and status and recommends or implements corrective action as necessary;
• Participates in the development of process improvement initiatives and value for money opportunities;
• Provides advice to project managers and other business stakeholders on all subcontracting activities related to your program of work;
• Authority to prepare, negotiate, execute, interpret and administer legally binding complex contractual agreements for The Boeing Company.

• Formal qualifications in a related discipline (Law, Accounting, Business or Supply Chain Management).
• At least 5-8 years' experience in Supplier Management, Procurement and Contracting, contracting or contract management roles;
• Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder management to drive outcomes;
• Demonstrated skills in negotiation, contract management, and procurement throughout the full end-to-end lifecycle;
• Demonstrated stakeholder engagement and management skills;
• An enthusiasm for working with suppliers and identifying new opportunities and relationships;
• The ability to work with cross functional teams;
• The ability to work autonomously to see projects and opportunities through to completion.
