Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Specialist to support our MQ-28 Subcontracts team.

  • This role involves leading the supply chain aspects of MQ-28 sub-projects;
  • Identifying gaps in the supply chain and developing strategies to mitigate risks and deliver capability;
  • Managing supplier relationships and providing guidance on contractual and production capabilities;
  • Developing and managing timely and high-quality supplier procurements;
  • Conducting complex approach to market activities (RFx), analysing and evaluating supplier proposals;
  • Monitoring and reporting subcontract cost, schedule, and status;
  • Providing advice to project managers on all subcontracting activities.

To be successful in this role, you will have a collaborative team approach, well-developed analytical skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supply Chain Management: Lead the supply chain aspects of MQ-28 sub-projects;
  • Risk Mitigation: Identify gaps in the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate risks and deliver capability;
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Manage supplier relationships and provide guidance on contractual and production capabilities;
  • Procurement Management: Develop and manage timely and high-quality supplier procurements;
  • Market Analysis: Conduct complex approach to market activities (RFx) and analyse and evaluate supplier proposals;
  • Reporting: Monitor and report subcontract cost, schedule, and status;
  • Advice Provision: Provide advice to project managers on all subcontracting activities.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Education: Formal qualifications in a related discipline (Law, Accounting, Business or Supply Chain Management);
  • Experience: At least 5-8 years' experience in Supplier Management, Procurement, and Contracting;
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder management skills;
  • Negotiation and Contract Management Skills: Demonstrated skills in negotiation, contract management, and procurement throughout the lifecycle;
  • Stakeholder Engagement Skills: Demonstrated stakeholder engagement and management skills;
  • Autonomy and Teamwork: The ability to work with cross-functional teams and autonomously.
