Job Overview

The role of a Senior Subcontract Specialist is to lead the supply chain aspects of sub-projects, identify gaps in the supply chain and create novel strategies to mitigate risks and deliver capability to the program.

About the Opportunity
  • Be the focal point for the supply-chain aspects of sub-projects and incremental upgrades;
  • Develop procurement strategies and priorities and lead their delivery through strong stakeholder relationships and understanding program requirements;

This requires a collaborative team approach, well-developed analytical skills and excellent written and verbal communication. A formal qualification in a related discipline and at least 5-8 years' experience in Supplier Management, Procurement and Contracting are also essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leads the Supply Chain aspects of sub-projects;
  • Drafts, negotiates and manages a broad range of commercial agreements including NDAs, development, manufacturing and support services contracts and contract variations;
Requirements
  • Candidates must have a collaborative team approach, well-developed analytical skills and excellent written and verbal communication.
  • A formal qualification in a related discipline and at least 5-8 years' experience in Supplier Management, Procurement and Contracting are required.
