This is a pivotal role in our Asset Management division at the refinery.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial part in enhancing manufacturing efficiency, ensuring safe and secure operations, and maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Operational Leadership:
- Actively promote a culture of occupational health, safety, and environmental excellence among employees and contractors.
- Ensure operational risks are effectively assessed and managed.
- Implement risk mitigation protocols to prevent incidents.
- Process Management:
- Manage operational resources to support projects and maintenance activities.
- Review alarm rates and identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor process chemical stocks and consumption levels.
- Asset Strategy:
- Plan and execute operational activities to support broader asset management objectives.
- Develop and manage asset capital and operational expenditure budgets.
- Prepare and assist with plant changes under management of change procedures.
- Collaboration and Problem Solving:
- Collaborate with teams across the refinery to address challenges and implement improvements.
- Apply technical expertise to troubleshoot operational problems and investigate process plant incidents.
- Able to plan and manage your time effectively.
- Excellent communicator and problem solver.
- Comfortable making decisions using your judgement and experience.
- Compliant with safety regulations and willing to seek help if necessary.
