The role of Corporate Lawyer: Mergers and Acquisitions presents an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated and self-motivated lawyer to excel in a challenging corporate law position.
This involves providing expert legal advice on complex matters, including Private M&A, solvent global restructuring, general Corporation Act advice, general commercial law, private capital raising, financial services, Chapter 7 (AFSL), private equity, and venture capital.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality legal advice to clients on complex corporate and commercial matters.
- Act for founders, financial sponsors, major corporations, and financial institutions, not-for-profit organisations, and high-net-worth individuals.
- Demonstrate leadership skills and adapt to changes in the legal market while building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and colleagues in a collaborative environment.
- Special Counsel with 10+ years of post-qualification experience with strong expertise in Private M&A.
- Relevant Australian Legal Qualification/Admission.
- Shows technical excellence, a strong work ethic, and ideally experience with business development.
This is a dynamic corporate law position that offers the opportunity to develop skills in legal advice, business development, and leadership.
