The Role

As a Business Development Specialist in our Sales team, you'll be responsible for identifying target merchants, evaluating buyer interest, qualifying leads, and creating value-based demonstrations. You'll need to be able to work independently or at a distance from your team, have a strong commercial mindset, and be able to manage a large volume of tasks and responsibilities.

You'll spend your days prospecting to small, medium, and large-sized businesses through outbound lead generation, door-to-door prospecting, cold calling/email, referrals, and more. Your goal will be to exceed individual targets by owning the full sales cycle, including planning, cold calling, qualifying, obtaining information, due diligence, and closing new deals.

To succeed in this role, you'll need 3+ years of hands-on experience in a sales position, with proven ability to achieve quarterly goals. You should have a genuine curiosity and passion about people and their businesses, as well as excellent written, verbal, and oral presentation skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prospecting to small, medium, and large-sized businesses through various channels
  • Building deep relationships with business owners and decision-makers
  • Meticulously managing leads and deals pipeline within Hubspot Sales Hub
  • Owning the full sales cycle, including planning, cold calling, qualifying, obtaining information, due diligence, and closing new deals
  • Delivering outstanding first impressions for Zeller's merchants
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in a sales position with proven ability to achieve quarterly goals
  • Genuine curiosity and passion about people and their businesses
  • Strong commercial mindset and demonstrated ability to successfully manage and grow revenue
  • Excellent written, verbal, and oral presentation skills
