About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Specialist to join our team in Cairns and Townsville. As a Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying and driving new business opportunities with commercial and Education customers and building long-term partnerships.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining trusted relationships with clients to determine their existing, future business needs, objectives, buying criteria and decision-making process
  • Actively and successfully managing the sales process from start to finish, including managing and maintaining your sales pipeline, ensuring all sales enquiries are followed through
  • Identifying and growing opportunities within your Region /Territory and collaborating with sales team to ensure maximum growth
  • Presenting innovative business solutions to potential clients through direct communication
  • Ensuring Salesforce is up to date and accurate
  • Attending industry events; tradeshows and networking nights to aid in the development of new business revenue
