Job Title: Entry-Level Test Analyst

Paxus Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia

As a Junior Test Analyst, you will work within IT programs responsible for delivering complex, high-risk digital transformation projects across government. Your role involves testing and quality assurance activities ensuring software reliability and compliance.

This position requires collaboration with technical teams, business SMEs, and other stakeholders. You will be working on both manual and automated testing to ensure the highest level of software quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct static testing and analyze requirements.
  • Design, execute, and manage test cases across system testing, system integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production verification testing (PVT).
  • Create test data and ensure traceability.
  • Participate in test case reviews and defect triage.
  • Identify regression tests and testing risks.
  • Provide detailed progress reports to project stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in system integration testing, web applications, mobility, and portals.
  • Proficiency with manual testing tools, such as Jira.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate requirements into test cases.
  • Intermediate SQL Server knowledge.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and isolate test failures.
