Key Role in Software Quality Assurance:

The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring software reliability and compliance across systems integration activities.

This position involves both manual and automated testing, requiring collaboration with technical teams, business SMEs, and other stakeholders.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Analyse requirements and conduct static testing to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Design, execute, and manage test cases for system testing, system integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production verification testing (PVT).
  • Create test data and maintain traceability throughout the testing process.
  • Participate in test case reviews and defect triage to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Identify regression tests and potential testing risks to mitigate their impact on the project.
  • Provide detailed progress reports to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with testing strategies and standards.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in system integration testing, particularly with web applications, mobility solutions, and portals.
  • Proficiency in manual testing tools, such as Jira, and ability to learn new tools quickly.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable test cases.
  • Intermediate-level knowledge of SQL Server, including database management and query optimization.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and isolate test failures, ensuring timely resolution and minimal downtime.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise updates to stakeholders.

Desirable Experience:

  • Familiarity with automated testing, particularly with SmartBear TestComplete/TestExecute, and ability to design and execute automated test scripts.
  • Experience working on large-scale or multi-year projects, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results under pressure.
  • Knowledge of data testing, ETL processes, and large datasets, with the ability to design and execute effective data-driven tests.
  • Understanding of data mapping, reconciliation, and validation, ensuring accurate and reliable data processing.
