Job Title: Junior Test Analyst

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Junior Test Analyst. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to start their career in software testing.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality of our software products by conducting thorough testing and quality assurance activities.

This role involves working closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and other government agencies to deliver complex digital transformation programs.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about testing and has excellent analytical skills, with the ability to translate requirements into test cases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyse system requirements and design test cases for system testing, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and production verification testing.
  • Create and manage test data, and ensure traceability throughout the testing process.
  • Participate in test case reviews and defect triage, and identify regression tests and testing risks.
  • Provide detailed progress reports to project stakeholders, and ensure alignment with testing strategies and standards.
Essential Skills & Experience:
  • Experience in system integration testing (web apps, mobility, portals).
  • Proficiency with manual testing tools (e.g. Jira).
  • Strong analytical skills, and the ability to translate requirements into test cases.
  • Intermediate SQL Server knowledge.
Desirable Experience:
  • Exposure to automated testing, especially with SmartBear TestComplete/TestExecute.
  • Testing experience on large-scale or multi-year projects.
  • Familiarity with data testing, ETL processes, and large datasets.
