Return to Work Specialist Role

This position requires an individual with expertise in return-to-work strategies, particularly in managing complex mental injury claims. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with our team to provide coaching and mentoring to injured workers, engaging employers and healthcare professionals in the return-to-work process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Influencing high-risk cases to achieve optimal return-to-work outcomes through effective stakeholder engagement
  • Working with case managers to manage allocated mental injury cases, identifying innovative solutions to assist injured workers in returning to work safely
  • Utilizing expertise in return-to-work and mental injury management to drive effective stakeholder engagement and promote durable and cost-effective return-to-work outcomes

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Recent experience in worker's compensation agents or personal injury industry, with a strong understanding of common mental injuries, treatment options, and medical terminology
  • Excellent customer service skills and tertiary qualification in Psychology or relevant field, with the ability to manage complex return-to-work cases through early identification and implementation of effective strategies
