Job Summary

The Food and Beverage Supervisor will be responsible for supervising all staff in their assigned work area. This includes coordinating efforts for day-to-day operations, maintaining high standards of guest service, and promoting team member development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise hourly team members in the assigned area.
  • Post weekly schedules in a timely manner to meet business volume demands.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and work effectively with team members.
  • Ensure excellent guest service by presenting orders promptly and maintaining high quality presentation.
  • Provide courteous guest service and adhere to established Guest Service Standards.
  • Coordinate work areas, schedules, or duties as assigned.
  • Order products as needed to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Document significant occurrences for management using appropriate tools.
  • Lead by example and assist team members on assigned shifts.
  • Adjust transactions such as voids, splits, and transfers according to approved procedures.
  • Monitor time reports for the department.
  • Assist with end-of-month inventory processes.
  • Work cooperatively with multiple departments to manage alcoholic beverage sales and service.
  • Coach and counsel team members, monitor performance, and conduct necessary conversations.
  • Perform routine equipment inspections to ensure proper functioning.
Requirements:
  • Age: Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Certifications: ServSafe and Responsible Alcohol Service certification or proof of current certification.
  • Experience: Supervisory experience in hospitality operations, preferably with full-service food and beverage service.
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to learn and operate point-of-sale systems; sound judgment and reasoning.
  • Additional Requirements:
    • Must be able to lift 25 pounds and occasionally more with assistance.
    • Must be physically able to perform all job requirements.
