Drive Data Excellence

We seek an experienced professional to oversee our data quality initiatives, develop strategic plans for enterprise data management, and implement best practices across business units.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, document, and maintain robust data quality processes aligned with our data management strategy, driving adoption through stakeholder engagement and training.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to secure buy-in for decision-making, rollout, training, and sustainability of data quality processes.
  • Contribute to the establishment and management of data issue management frameworks to address and resolve data quality issues efficiently.
  • Develop comprehensive training guides and documentation for data quality processes and tools; provide in-depth training to business units on data quality standards and best practices.
  • Ensure periodic review and upkeep of all data quality management policies, processes, and artefacts, ensuring compliance and effectiveness.
  • Lead proactive data quality and data observability initiatives across enterprise data assets, encompassing the Data Lake/Warehouse and other applications.
  • Develop and maintain a centralized data quality rule repository, mentoring technical stewards in creating business-unit-specific data quality controls.
Requirements:
  • Outstanding communication capabilities, with a proven track record of engaging and influencing stakeholders.
  • A proven ability to drive change across the organisation, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement aligned to data management goals.
  • The ability to articulate a clear vision for data quality programs and maintain an agile mindset for timely execution, even amid uncertainty.
  • Relevant certifications such as DCAM, CDMP, or other recognized credentials from respected data management bodies/councils.
