Lead Data and Analytics Expert

We are seeking a seasoned data and analytics leader to join our team as a key strategist in the development and implementation of innovative solutions for the administration of a more effective tax and superannuation system.

This is a high-profile role that contributes significantly to the strategic direction of data and analytics solutions for the APS. You will be working closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver on organisational outcomes and meet government commitments.

You will lead a team of between 80 to 200 staff, responsible for the delivery of data and analytics solutions to improve ATO operations and the tax and superannuation systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To collaborate with stakeholders to develop and deliver practical, scalable and efficient solutions.
  • To build trusted relationships and work collaboratively with peers to deliver on organisational outcomes and meet government commitments.
  • To provide strategic thought leadership in a transforming environment.
  • To develop and implement key strategic initiatives or programs in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • A strong data and analytics background to lead the development and implementation of key strategic initiatives or programs.
  • The ability to mature program delivery to ensure consistent, efficient and effective solutions.

Location: Various locations in ACT, NSW, QLD, SA, VIC or WA
