**Victim Support Specialist Role**

The role involves providing direct support to victim survivors, enhancing the capacity of Family Violence teams across the Victims Assistance program, and engaging in community outreach activities.

  • Assist individuals in managing the impact of crime through consumer-focused case management services.
  • Promote recovery and minimize secondary victimization within the criminal justice system.
**Requirements for Success**
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in the community sector, preferably in trauma-related fields.
  • Certification in risk identification and management, including expertise with the MARAM framework.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
