Electrical BIM Modelling Opportunity

Stantec is currently seeking a proactive Electrical BIM Modeller to join our team. As a key member of the electrical section, you will work on a range of projects including health, commercial, defence, retail, office, high-rise, industrial and educational buildings.

We are looking for someone with proven Revit experience working in building services. You will have the opportunity to contribute to multi-discipline design detailing duties related to our building services projects and provide technical service to internal and external clients.

The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to use initiative and think outside the box. A background in electrical contracting or a relevant technical qualification is also desirable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare documentation using predominantly Revit.
  • Undertake a range of multi-discipline design detailing duties related to our building services projects.
  • Execute drafting work within time constraints to a professional standard.
  • Adhere to professional standards, ethics and quality procedures.
  • Contribute to company culture.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working in an engineering consultancy is advantageous.
  • Ideal experience working on building services and understanding BIM techniques using Revit.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Positive, can-do attitude with the ability to use initiative and think outside the box.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently once set a task.
