We are looking for an experienced engineer with a strong technical background in design and/or operation of subsea or onshore pipeline systems. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in the CCS value chain from process to pore, including fluid mechanics, phase equilibria and thermodynamics, thermophysical properties of fluids, chemical interactions, key flow assurance risks and integrity risks.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of fluid modelling tools/ thermodynamic engines, such as Multiflash or PVTSim, and flow assurance modelling tools, such as OLGA, PIPESIM, LedaFlow, etc. Strong technical writing skills, specifically for issuing project reports to clients and or external parties, are also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and/or operation of subsea or onshore pipeline systems

Requirements:

  • Level 6 Bachelors (minimum) or Level 7 Masters (preferred) Degree in an engineering discipline, including chemical engineering, flow assurance, mechanical engineering
  • Chartership, Professional Engineer (PE) status or equivalent relevant professional license/registration from a recognised national or industry engineering institution
