Medical Practitioner in Gastroenterology

**About the Role:**
This permanent full-time position offers an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled medical professional to join our Gastroenterology team at the Launceston General Hospital. As a Senior Staff Specialist, you will provide specialist care to patients, contribute to research and quality improvement initiatives, and teach and mentor future medical professionals.
Key Responsibilities:Your key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering high-quality patient care to individuals with gastrointestinal disorders
- Contributing to research and quality improvement initiatives to enhance gastroenterology services
- Teaching and mentoring future medical professionals through undergraduate and postgraduate programs
- Offering specialist advice to inpatient units as needed
**Required Qualifications and Skills:**
To succeed in this position, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Be a registered Medical Practitioner who is an International Medical Graduate (IMG) on the specialist pathway
- Hold a recognised overseas specialist qualification and be assessed as having sufficient experience in the specialty
- Current Working with Children Registration
