Business Intelligence Expert

As a Senior Financial Analyst in the Finance Systems department, you will play a pivotal role in supporting senior leadership with accurate financial information while leading the administration and enhancement of key finance systems.

  • Deliver comprehensive management reports that drive business performance through insightful analysis, robust reporting, and process optimisation.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to provide valuable financial insights while maintaining the highest standards of data integrity within core finance systems.
  • Champion process improvements by identifying automation opportunities that reduce manual effort and increase operational efficiency.
  • Support annual planning, forecasting, and budgeting cycles by developing robust models and conducting scenario analysis to guide resource allocation.
  • Monitor departmental and project costs meticulously, ensuring precise allocation and effective cost management throughout the organisation.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated expertise in management accounting combined with significant experience in financial analysis and reporting within complex organisations.
  • Proven proficiency in administering finance systems such as IBM Planning Analytics (TM1), including system maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, and performance monitoring.
  • Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles alongside deep knowledge of management reporting cycles as well as planning and forecasting methodologies.
  • Advanced skills in financial modelling and scenario planning supported by strong Excel abilities along with familiarity with data visualisation tools.
