Finance Leadership Opportunity

The Group Financial Controller will lead and continuously improve the finance function of a market leader, navigating through increased demand and expansion opportunities. This role is an integral part of a passionate finance team.

About the Role:

  • Lead a team of 7 and report to the CFO.
  • Drive process improvement and operational performance by challenging the status quo and identifying opportunities for greater efficiency of financial compliance activities and quality of management information.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, grow, and manage the finance and accounting function.
  2. Provide meaningful insights to inform decision making at board, executive, and operational levels.
  3. Prepare the annual budgeting and forecasting.
  4. Manage the month-end close processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  5. Responsible for the year-end audit process and statutory reporting requirements.
  6. Meet all tax compliance obligations.
  7. Perform other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • A relevant Bachelor's degree in Commerce or Accounting.
  • CA/CPA qualified.
  • Exceptional technical accounting skills with a willingness to delve into detail.
  • Experience leading a finance team in a complex business environment.
  • Advanced Excel skills and good knowledge of accounting systems and processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
