Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Finance Systems Support Specialist to join our team in Sydney, NSW. As a key member of our finance operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our finance systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day support for finance systems, including troubleshooting issues and managing system upgrades and implementations.
  • Act as first-line support for user queries and technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Maintain system configurations, master data and centrally managed tables, ensuring data integrity and monitoring daily system runs, interfaces and reconciliations.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes, generating and supporting financial reports, dashboards and audit data.
  • Ensure that all systems align with accounting policies, statutory and regulatory requirements, and participate in finance projects, data migrations and process automation.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of finance systems and technology, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with finance, operations and IT teams to improve productivity and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to create training materials and deliver awareness sessions.
  • Knowledge of SOX compliance and internal/external audit requirements.
