As a senior leader in finance systems and data, you will play a pivotal role in driving business innovation and delivering strategic value. Reporting to the finance director of planning and analysis, this executive position requires a unique blend of skills in business intelligence, automation tools, data governance, analytics, finance system understanding, and artificial intelligence.

This individual must have a proven track record in leadership and collaboration, managing stakeholders at all levels, and delivering results-oriented outcomes. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the availability, reliability, security, and robustness of finance systems, data, and tools necessary to execute on day-to-day requirements for the business.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Ensuring the availability, reliability, security, and robustness of finance systems, data, and tools
  • Supporting the finance team in developing and enhancing data analytics, management reporting, automation, and AI
  • Delivering high-impact projects that drive business growth and transformation, including TM1 cube redesign, ERP system enhancement, and other automation initiatives
  • Providing thought leadership and vision for finance through the lens of technology, data, and automation
  • Establishing and enforcing robust data governance standards, ensuring data quality, integrity, and privacy are meticulously embedded across relevant systems and processes
  • Leading the development, engagement, and progression of all team members (~10 FTE)
  • Building collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders, both within finance and across the business

We are seeking an experienced professional with 10+ years of experience in management financial reporting, analytics, or a similar role. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required, along with prior experience with planning tools such as TM1 and ERP systems like JDE.

This role requires a deep understanding of business and the ability to tailor effective solutions to meet business needs. The successful candidate will have demonstrated ability to work with external partners and service providers to maximise value, experience in driving transformation initiatives involving multiple business functions, a collaborative mindset to build partnerships with others to meet shared objectives, and strong stakeholder engagement and project-management skills.
