About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at Fiserv. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering projects from original concept through final implementation, ensuring adherence to quality standards and reviewing project deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the overall results of the project, including delivery within budget and specified timeframes.
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with all stakeholders, including internal and external teams, vendors, and clients.
  • Responsible for end-to-end project delivery from planning through to closure, including managing project schedules, risk and issue management logs, and scope change management.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of payments-related trends and issues, actively researching information on industry changes and announcements.
  • Ensure project methodologies and delivery processes are followed, including managing project resources effectively and providing clear and concise project communication.
  • Assist business users and project teams in defining the scope, benefits, and risks of proposed solutions and projects.
  • Work with various business sponsors, departments, and business users to ensure customer expectations and requirements are met and managed.
  • Provide timely updates to project/team leaders and keep management and leadership apprised of any risks and issues related to the area(s) of responsibility and work.
  • Analyze the impact of change requests on existing Fiserv software solutions and offer feasible solutions taking risks, resources, budget, and schedule into consideration.
  • Collaborate and interact with peers at the Business and Technical analyst levels.
  • Recommend process and product improvements.
  • Perform additional duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, 4+ years of project management experience, including management of major projects in a large operating environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Microsoft Project and/or Microsoft Project Server.
  • Experience on payments technology projects is a must.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills.
  • Proven success in delivering projects within budget and specified timeframes, while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Proven problem-solving skills from problem assessment to solution selection.
  • Ability to identify alternatives and develop contingency plans.
  • Capacity to embrace change and quickly adapt to new situations, changes in direction, and altering priorities.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile, and dynamic environment.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and assignments.
  • Ability to demonstrate critical thinking, providing options and recommendations relating to resolving issues, mitigating risks, and resolving escalated items.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Project Manager leading large, complex projects/programs within financial institutions in Australia.
  • Working with MS Project and PowerPoint.
  • Manage a team within a Matrix Environment.
