**Key Responsibilities**
- Participating in long- and medium-term decisions concerning the organisation's IT strategy and direction.
- Providing leadership to the IT Infrastructure & Security team, including priorities and workload, and coordinating with the other IT teams and wider organisation. Includes managing and provisioning application resources for projects.
- Managing the IT Infrastructure & Security operational and capital expenditures within budget.
- Accountable for all technical tasks undertaken by the IT Infrastructure & Security team, including designing, building, deploying, evaluating, and maintaining IT infrastructure and security.
- Reporting on the progress of operational issues to senior management, end users, and stakeholders.
- Overseeing the proactive promotion of technology and security awareness and competence across Newcastle Anglican.
- Managing, maintaining, and monitoring all aspects of Newcastle Anglican's IT systems, ensuring they are stable, resilient, secure, and comply with relevant technical and industry standards.
- Design, plan, and oversee the implementation of technology solutions.
- Management of 3rd party IT suppliers as required.
**Requirements**
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, information technology, or a similar field.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in the field.
- In-depth understanding of current and emerging technologies preferably in the Aged Care, NDIS, community services, and education sectors.
- Specialised IT management competencies in IT infrastructure, networks, cloud computing, and architecture.
- Strong collaboration, teamwork, and relationship building skills across multiple levels and functions in the organisation.
- Negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- People management and leadership skills, together with professional standards of planning and budgeting.
- Demonstrated acumen and passion for technology.
- Thorough knowledge of best-practice IT governance, e.g., ITIL.
