About the Role

The Project Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the successful planning, execution, and monitoring of projects at KBR. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining project documentation, including assisting in reporting of project financials, schedule, and risk management activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in assessing project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
  • Process, format, collate, and prepare documentation for submission to key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain a project management calendar to fulfill project goals and objectives.
  • Track correspondence and ensure timely responses from relevant team members and contractors.
  • Manage and track administrative aspects of sub-contractor management.
  • Maintain all project records within the Document Control System.
  • Create and maintain project-related Jira tickets.
  • Ensure all Requests for Information are directed to the appropriate team member.
  • Ensure all open actions are followed through in a timely manner.
  • Attend and participate in project meetings on behalf of the associated project manager as required.
  • Provide high-quality, timely customer service to both internal and external customers.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a project coordinator or related roles, preferably within the defence industry, with at least 3 years of experience.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Proven experience with project management of multi-disciplined teams.
  • Diploma of Project Management or above.
  • NV1 Security clearance.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or relevant certifications in program management.
  • Agile delivery experience.
