This is a Product Designer opportunity in Footscray, Victoria.
We are seeking an experienced Product Designer to play a key role in delivering significant platform upgrades for our government agency.
The successful candidate will own the product roadmap and provide direction to the agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the Product Roadmap and provide vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project
- Design and validate innovative solutions, working with stakeholders
- Assist with managing the day-to-day contract with the primary technology vendor
- Participate in all agile ceremonies, providing leadership to build the team's capability in agile methodologies
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years' experience as a Product Designer in a digital environment and be proficient in design and research tools such as Figma, FigJam, Miro.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years' experience as a Product Designer in a digital environment
- Proficient in design and research tools such as Figma, FigJam, Miro
- Demonstrated experience across the end-to-end product design process
- Experience delivering successful products in a large, complex government or similar environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
We offer a hybrid working arrangement and opportunities for career growth and development.
The initial contract is for 6 months, and we are looking for a mid-senior level Product Designer to join our team.
