Post Production Lead

Bolster is on the hunt for a post-production powerhouse to help set the tone on our content offering by leading video projects through the editing and delivery phase. We are looking to bring on board an expert in tackling terabytes, delivering emphatic edits that elevate narratives, contributing to pre-production plans to ensure a smooth post-production journey and collaborating with motion designers to bring assets to life across a variety of formats. This role will also require a person who is experienced in developing data management systems and setting the tone agency wide on how we set up editing projects to keep our work consistent, timely and of the highest quality.

Day to day you will work closely alongside the Content Lead and Producer to assist in developing ideas, scoping video productions and personally overseeing the post-production process across the agency. You will be responsible for editing a variety of content outputs across a broad budget range as well as overseeing our network of freelance editors to complete overflow work when required. When you aren't deep in an edit you might spend your time developing case studies or award submissions for our previous work or even use your understanding of digital media content to contribute to ideation, strategy and concept development across our wider agency work.

This role requires a highly organised and creative thinker with proven experience in developing narratives, efficiently making footage selects and intuitively grasping the pacing of an edit to hold a viewer's attention while also maintaining a process to manage our videography data. Your contribution to Bolster will ultimately assist us in further developing our content offering and delivering premium quality work for any client aiming to connect to culture through video content.

We are open to both full time or part time (4 days per week) commitment.

**What You'll Be Doing**
- Agency lead for all narrative editing work including making selects, structuring stories, putting together edits and effectively delegating tasks to our freelancer network or internal resources
- Briefing Bolster's motion design team and managing working file handovers to integrate motion graphics and/or GFX into edits
- Ideation oversight and support across any content briefs across the business as a whole
- Creation of compelling case studies for Bolster's work for award submissions and showreels to promote our work externally
- Proactively developing Bolster's video content offering and expanding it into higher budget production realms such as TVC, music videos, editorial and documentary
- Instituting and managing an agency-wide content review and feedback system, data storage policy, filing and archiving for all of Bolster's video content output and raw files
- Responsibility for proactively pushing the boundaries of Bolster's video work into new areas
- Setting an impeccable standard for all video edits that Bolster delivers and maintaining quality assurance across all of our outputs regardless of who is producing the content
- Developing and expanding Bolster's freelance post-production network
- Contributing to Bolster's Pitching & Growth team to help ideate on new business opportunities, areas of innovation and development of content/creative treatments
- Proficiency at managing multiple content projects simultaneously at varying stages of the post-production pipeline
- 5+ years industry experience managing and completing video edits to an impeccable standard across independent film and commercial sectors
- 5+ years industry experience in managing data for creative projects and productions
- Established track record of working in an agency environment as either a freelancer or full time employee
- An up to date showreel that demonstrates a folio of editing and post-production work
- Being at the top of your game by having strong working knowledge of all creative tools, including Adobe Creative Suite, Premier Pro, After Effects, Red Giant Universe, Frame.io
