Wilmar Sugar, a leading sugar and renewable energy company in Australia, is seeking skilled individuals to join its laboratory team.

The company offers a unique opportunity for candidates to work in air-conditioned labs, evaluating the quality and content of sugar in cane and other factory products. The positions available include Juice Chemist, Control Chemist, and Day Chemist roles, each with varying schedules and requirements.

As a Burdekin Region employee, the successful applicants would be required to work at any Burdekin Regional work site, depending on the needs of the business. The crushing season typically runs from June through December, subject to weather conditions and other factors.

To be considered for these roles, applicants must be willing to complete an entire crushing season and undergo a pre-employment medical assessment, which includes a urine drug and alcohol screen, physio assessment, and medical assessment.
