Wilmar Sugar is Australia's leading sugar and renewable energy company. We are seeking a Permanent Fugal Operator to join our team at Invicta Mill.

This permanent position involves continuous shift work, weekend work, and some overtime during the crushing season. However, it is a day work position with rest days on most Fridays during the maintenance season.

The successful applicant will be responsible for producing raw sugar and C seed/magma that consistently meets customer expectations in terms of technical and quality specifications. They will also be expected to sample, inspect, and perform basic analysis on sugar and molasses streams, and maintain up-to-date records.

In addition to these duties, the Fugal Operator will be responsible for separating sugar from molasses with minimal losses, remelting C sugar in excess of pan stage requirements, and monitoring syrup/magma/massecuite stocks.

The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving and communication skills, be self-motivated with highly developed organizational skills, and be able to guide and support others in a team environment. Sugar industry experience is advantageous but not essential.
