
Complex Case Manager Specialist

This role is a key component of the Coordinated Client Support Branch, serving as an escalation point for clients at risk of self-harm or harm to others.
- Provide expert case management and/or clinical guidance to support the work of Complex Case Managers.
- Manage a caseload of clients, conducting thorough assessments including intake evaluations and risk assessments.
- Contribute to the creation of high-level client summaries and briefs, ensuring accurate documentation practices.
Requirements:
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant health discipline, such as Nursing, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, or Social Work.
- No less than 2 years of experience working as a case manager or equivalent clinical role.
- Prolonged experience working within mental health or community case management settings, including interactions with individuals presenting complex mental health conditions.
Desirable qualifications include registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Registration Agency (AHPRA), or eligibility for registration with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW). Experience in working with military or veteran mental health services, expertise in supporting clients experiencing substance abuse impacts, mood, anxiety disorders (including PTSD) is also advantageous. A current Police Check is mandatory.
