Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Civil or Structural Engineering, acceptable for admission as a professional engineer to Engineers Australia, or equivalent professional body.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Structural and civil design and review of high voltage substations including gantries structures, transformer slabs and fire walls, oil containment systems, switchyard structures, footings, control buildings, earthworks, drainage, and roads.
  • Due diligence / Risk assessment of civil and structural components of renewable energy projects.
  • Civil design and design review of renewable projects including solar farm earthworks, roads, erosion and sedimentation control, PV racking systems, geotechnical specification, pile design, and site inspections and quality assurance reviews.
  • Civil design and design review of Transmission Line Towers and structures and foundations.
