This role involves providing professional leadership to a team of community care staff who deliver direct care to clients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring staff have a good understanding of individual client needs and preferences, and can provide tailored services within budget and service expectations.
- Lead a team in the delivery of high-quality care services to clients
- Manage the recruitment and onboarding of new staff members
- Maintain accurate records and reports to support operational decisions
Requirements:
- Certificate IV in Aged Care (Desirable), HR or similar degree & a minimum of 2 years relevant industry experience
- Knowledge of Home Care Packages Program, CHSP services, Aged Care Quality Standards and Commonwealth Home Support Programme
- Performance coaching experience and management of a team while operating in a multi-site environment
- A current driver's licence and safe driving record and willingness to travel between sites and services
- Strong organisational, administrative and computer skills
- Empathy and patience
